Masterworking: Advanced Upgrades for Final Power
Once you've tempered your item, you can move on to Diablo 4 Items Masterworking. Masterworking is the final step of crafting that gives your items special upgrades, further improving their stats or adding powerful effects.

Masterworking enhances an item beyond the regular crafting system. Once you apply Masterwork upgrades, the item becomes untradeable, meaning it's permanently tied to your character.

How Masterworking Works
Before Masterworking, an item must have two tempers applied. Only then can you Masterwork the item.

Masterwork Upgrades are typically more powerful than regular crafting upgrades, and they come with permanent stat boosts. These boosts can range from damage increases, resource generation, defensive bonuses, or life-related bonuses.

Masterwork Categories:
Weapon Masterwork: Adds major upgrades like increased weapon damage, attack speed, or special effects (like dealing more damage to Elites or Bosses).

Armor Masterwork: Enhances defensive stats such as Armor, Resistances, or Vitality. You might also get bonuses like damage reduction or life regeneration.

Accessory Masterwork: Accessories can be Masterworked for utility upgrades, such as resource cost reduction, cooldown reduction, or damage mitigation.

How to Use:

Choose a Legendary or Unique item that has been tempered (with two tempers).

Select the Masterwork option in the crafting menu.

Choose the Masterwork upgrade based on your needs:

If you're aiming for more damage, you might choose a damage increase or crit multiplier.

If you need survivability, focus on armor or resistances.

Apply the upgrade, and the item will now be enhanced with significant power increases.

Note: Once Masterworked, the item becomes untradeable, so you want to cheap Diablo 4 materials to 
make sure it's the right piece before applying the upgrade.
